This product is
handcrafted from untreated brass. Brass tends to darken and develop a patina
with time and when exposed to humidity. This is a natural process, however, it
can be removed using polishing/cleaning products for brass. Alternatively, you
can use a water + vinegar solution to remove the patina. To delay oxidation,
avoid direct contact with chemicals, lotions, perfumes and water. Store the
piece in a dry/air-tight place.
